Assistant​/Associate​/Professor in Entrepreneurship

Overview

The Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Professor in Entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will join a scholarly academic environment dedicated to excellence in research, teaching, and community engagement.

• Conduct high-quality research leading to publications in top-tier, refereed journals and develop and sustain funded research initiatives.
• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in entrepreneurship and related disciplines, employing innovative and practical approaches to enhance student learning.
• Lead and manage the Entrepreneurship Lab, creating hands-on, practical opportunities that integrate academic knowledge with real-world applications.
• Mentor students, advising them on academic and professional development, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the Entrepreneurship program.
• Engage in service activities that promote the growth and reputation of UAEU and its entrepreneurship program.
• Utilize industry experience in the UAE and internationally to ensure the program's practical relevance and quality.

• Applicants must have an earned doctorate in the applicable field. The ability to teach undergraduate courses is a must. Industrial and professional experience is a plus.

• Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship, Business, or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited institution.

• Proven track record of peer-reviewed journal publications or clear evidence of potential to publish in leading journals if at an early stage of PhD completion.
• Ability to secure research funding or develop funded research initiatives.
• Excellence in teaching with a focus on innovative pedagogy and the ability to teach a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Collegiality and a strong commitment to contributing to the growth of the institution and its broader community.
• Proficiency in English, the language of instruction and communication.
