Position Summary:

Faculty members are responsible for providing effective instruction in one or more of Emergency Medical Services disciplines. Using various learning methodologies that support a learning‑by‑doing philosophy, the curriculum is taught to second language learners within a student‑centric learning environment that fosters respect for students, their culture, and traditions. Faculty members assist with the development and preservation of system‑wide and directorate‑specific policies, and participate in academic and extra‑curricular events at the College and within the community.

Adjunct Faculty are temporary teaching staff employed to enhance student learning, bringing practical knowledge and varied experience. They provide effective instruction in undergraduate courses, covering regular program courses including capstone projects, work experience, and senior‑level specialized courses. Involvement in applied research and extra‑curricular events at the College and outreach activities is welcomed. Teaching load is assigned as needed and may not exceed six (9) credits per semester.

The workday is normally Sundays to Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
