Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic educational leader to serve as Vice Principal for the British Curriculum
. Reporting directly to the Principal, the Vice Principal will support in leading the strategic direction and operational management of the school, ensuring excellence in teaching, learning, and student achievement across all phases.
- Support the Principal in shaping and implementing the vision, mission, and strategic direction of the school.
- Ensure high‑quality delivery of the British curriculum (EYFS to A Level) adapted for an international context.
- Lead and monitor teaching, learning, and assessment practices to raise academic standards.
- Oversee student progress, behaviour, and wellbeing, fostering a safe and inclusive school environment.
- Contribute to school improvement planning, accreditation, and inspection readiness (e.g., BSO, ADEK).
- Manage staff performance and professional development to promote continuous improvement.
- Build positive relationships with parents, staff, and the wider community to support student success.
- Support operational management, including timetabling, resources, and compliance.
- Act as Acting Principal in the absence of the Principal.
Skills and Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education or a related field (required).
- At least 5 years of proven experience in school leadership, ideally in British curriculum schools.
- Strong knowledge of British curriculum frameworks and international school accreditation processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to raise standards of teaching and learning.
- Experience in managing multicultural school communities.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding British education in an international setting.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical responsibility.
