Senior Training And Development Specialist
The incumbent will deliver structured, competency-based training for a Military Leadership Program (Foundational, Advanced, Operational, Executive, and Strategic Leadership). The role focuses on developing participants’ leadership, communication, digital mindset, problem-solving, teamwork, innovation, protocol excellence, and strategic decision-making. The incumbent must have strong experience delivering training to military personnel, security agencies, diplomatic entities, or high-discipline customer-service environments. Incumbent must apply adult-learning methodologies suitable for disciplined, hierarchical, and mission-driven contexts.
Responsibilities
Training Delivery
- Deliver high-quality sessions across program levels on topics including:
- Leadership ethics, discipline & behavioral competencies
- Strategic thinking, innovation, AI applications, digital leadership
- Etiquette, protocol, and professional conduct in official settings
- Time management, KPIs, performance planning
- Crisis management, cognitive resilience & decision-making
- Scenario-based operational leadership activities
- Final projects coaching and evaluation
Facilitation & Instructional Methods
- Apply appropriate training approaches, including disciplined facilitation, scenario-based teaching, and simulations.
- Ensure the learning environment supports respect, hierarchy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Use digital tools and AI applications as required by course outcomes.
Assessment Responsibilities
- Evaluate participants through practical exercises, applied assignments, and final projects.
- Provide structured feedback to support learner improvement and program objectives.
- Maintain accurate learner documentation, attendance, and assessment records.
Program Development & Quality Assurance
- Customize content as needed while maintaining alignment with CERT competency frameworks.
- Work collaboratively with the Program manager, IQA teams, and administrative staff to ensure standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and curriculum enhancement.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in leadership, Management, Military Science, Diplomatic, or related field.
- Certified Trainer qualification or equivalent.
- Native/Fluent Arabic; ability to deliver training in Arabic to professional standards.
- Minimum 5 years of training experience in one or more of the following sectors:
- Military / Armed Forces, Police / Security Services
- Diplomatic Corps / Protocol Training
- Customer Service Excellence in regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of leadership models, organizational behavior, and communication frameworks.
- Familiarity with digital leadership, innovation frameworks, and AI productivity tools.
- Experience in delivering executive, operational, or strategic-level leadership competencies.
- Professional discipline and high ethical standards.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to operate in military or hierarchical environments.
- Emotional intelligence, adaptability, and resilience under pressure.
Preferred Skills
- Experience training leadership programs aligned with GCC military or/and UAE government entities.
- Background in etiquette & protocol instruction based on diplomatic standards.
- Prior experience developing or assessing learner final projects.
- Understanding of UAE National Competency Frameworks and leadership culture.
Part-time initially, with the possibility to become full-time, based on performance.
Strict compliance with code of conduct, confidentiality rules, and protocol requirements. Ability to manage sensitive information responsibly.
