Assistant Professor in Finance and Fin Tech at the College of Business, Abu Dhabi University (

Start Date:

AY25/26). The successful candidate will teach undergraduate/postgraduate courses, conduct research, and contribute to college and university administrative/service responsibilities.

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in finance and financial technology and other related disciplines.
• Develop and sustain a productive research agenda leading to publications in high‑quality, peer‑reviewed journals.
• Supervise student projects, internships, and theses.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous program enhancement, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards, evolving industry practices, and the integration of digital tools.
• Actively participate in departmental, college, and university committees and academic initiatives.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and conferences.
• Engage with the business and professional community, fostering industry collaboration and supporting the university's outreach, innovation, and impact initiatives.

• Ph.D. in finance and financial technology, or a closely related field from an internationally recognized university, preferably accredited by AACSB, EQUIS, or listed in the top 200 global ranking.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a strong commitment to high‑quality research.
• Proven record of curriculum development and innovative teaching practices in accounting.
• Established portfolio of scholarly research, with publications in reputable, peer‑reviewed journals.
• Experience in industry practice, consultancy, or professional service is highly desirable.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, CFtP, FDB.
• Industry experience in auditing, or financial reporting.

• At least two years of teaching experience in accredited higher education institutions.

• Ability to integrate industry insights and emerging trends into curriculum design and classroom instruction.
• Capacity to contribute to departmental service, program development, and institutional initiatives.

• Professional proficiency in English (oral and written).
• Arabic is preferred.
