The College of Engineering (CoE) at Abu Dhabi University is inviting applications for faculty appointments in Electrical and Computer Engineering for the Fall of the Academic Year. The College has rapidly expanded its programs, faculty, and student body, becoming the largest private engineering college in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, with over 3300 students. With a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs designed according to international standards, the College offers the country's largest and most varied selection of engineering programs.

Our curriculum reflects the best practices of leading universities worldwide, with several programs already receiving or expecting ABET accreditation. Appointments at the level of Assistant Professor are available and will be decided based on qualifications and relevant experience.

Faculty members report to the Department Chair and Dean and actively contribute to the university's growth and development. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses, engaging in research activities, and participating in university service.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Earned a doctorate from an accredited Electrical or Computer Engineering institution or a related field from a top‑200 university in the QS ranking.
  • A proven record of outstanding research achievements in quality and impact.
  • Previous experience in university teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication skills, a commitment to scholarship and diversity, an entrepreneurial spirit, and an understanding of the university's role in economic development.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and visual communication techniques, and the importance of equipping students with the diverse skills needed for success in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
