MBZUAI is a research-focused university in Abu Dhabi, and the first university dedicated entirely to the advancement of science through AI. The university empowers the next generation of AI leaders, driving innovation and impactful applications of AI through world-class education and interdisciplinary research.

In 2025, MBZUAI launched its first ever undergraduate program, a Bachelor of Science in AI, with two distinct streams:
Business and Engineering, and are looking for passionate and highly motivated Teaching Faculty.

The Undergraduate Division is seeking teaching faculty to teach an undergraduate course, "From Vision to Execution," focused on core project management principles for AI-driven projects. The course emphasizes applying both traditional and agile methodologies to the unique challenges of projects involving AI, including data management, ethical considerations, and integrating AI tools for decision-making and risk management.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality instruction in Project Management and related areas in AI and technology projects.
• Developing and maintaining course content, exercises, and project-based learning modules aligned with current best practices.
• Creating an engaging learning environment that emphasizes practical skills, problem-solving, and teamwork.
• Mentoring and advising students in project planning, execution, and management challenges.
• Collaborating with colleagues to integrate project management principles across AI curricula.

This position requires a Ph.D in Project Management, Business Administration, Management, Engineering Management, or a closely related discipline.

Demonstrated expertise in project planning, execution, risk management, or agile methodologies.

Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, or equivalent) and AI/technology project contexts is desirable.

Strong commitment to teaching excellence, experiential learning, and student development.

Proven teaching or training experience at the undergraduate or graduate level (or equivalent professional training experience)
