Abu Dhabi University invites experienced industry professionals to join our academic community as Industry Faculty (Part-Time). This is a unique opportunity for current or recently retired industry leaders to share expertise, shape future talent, and remain actively engaged with the academic and innovation ecosystem.

• Teach up to two undergraduate or postgraduate courses per semester.
• Deliver applied, industry-aligned instruction based on approved course learning outcomes.
• Infuse classroom teaching with real-world examples, tools, and case studies from your industry experience.
• Support academic programs by integrating current industry practices and trends into teaching and curriculum.
• Collaborate with full-time faculty on industry-relevant research and applied innovation projects.
• Mentor students on professional development, career readiness, and workplace expectations.
• Actively participate in at least two college activities or committees each academic year.
• Have the ability to teach remotely for a limited period of time on selected courses only.

• A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, along with current industry experience, is required to teach undergraduate courses.
• To teach postgraduate courses, a Doctorate degree is preferred; however, a Master’s degree combined with extensive industry experience at a leadership level in the relevant discipline may also be considered.
• Currently employed in a senior or technical role in industry, or retired from such a role within the last three years.
• Membership in a reputable professional or industry association is highly preferred.
• Strong subject matter expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for student development.
• Previous experience in teaching, training, or mentoring is desirable but not mandatory.
