We are recruiting for an outstanding Head of Mathematics to join the GEMS World Academy in Abu Dhabi from August 2026

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, or a closely related field, with a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/PGDE) or teaching licence
• Proven leadership experience within a Mathematics department or clear potential to step into a Head of Department role
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to lead on curriculum planning, assessment, and staff development
• A consistent track record of outstanding teaching and learning, with evidence of excellent student progress and achievement
• Experience teaching within the British curriculum and/or the IB framework is highly desirable
• The ability to inspire, motivate, and guide colleagues in delivering excellence across the Mathematics faculty
