Teacher - Mathematics - Mamoura British Academy (AY 2026/2027)
Aldar Education is seeking a highly capable Mathematics Teacher for the Middle and Senior School at Mamoura British Academy, Abu Dhabi, starting the 2026‑2027 academic year.

Responsibilities- Teamwork and collaboration with fellow teachers.
- Effective communication at all levels.
- Develop positive relationships with the school community.
- Plan engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues and adapt flexibly.
- Work with parents to promote student happiness and academic outcomes.
- Support student development with curriculum support staff.
- Act as form tutor and support pastoral needs.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the British curriculum (Year 6‑Year 13).
- Organise classroom provision, learning resources and displays.
- Plan, prepare and present sessions that cater to the whole ability range.
- Motivate pupils through enthusiastic, imaginative teaching.
- Observe and assess pupils in line with the school assessment policy.
- Reflect on lessons, progress and adapt planning and curriculum accordingly.
- Embed the Mamoura British Academy Teacher and Learner DNA language and attitudes in the curriculum.
- Take responsibility for the progress of classes taught.
- Record and manage student development using the designated assessment system.
- Use assessment data to inform further planning and intervention.
- Provide feedback to parents and carers at Parent‑Teacher Conferences and other meetings.
- Follow the school’s Behaviour Policy and manage classes effectively.
- Maintain good relationships with pupils, exercise appropriate authority, and act decisively when necessary.
- Model positive attitudes, values and behaviour and promote student self‑control and independence.
- Support departmental planning, assessment, resources and special events.
- Participate in school events, outings and activities, including those on weekends or evenings.
- Communicate with parents/carers regarding student achievements using CPOMS where appropriate.
- Contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school.
- Run a weekly Enrichment & Co‑Curricular Activity (ECA).
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject with PGCE or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience in the English National Curriculum.
- Outstanding teacher with proven success across age and ability ranges.
- Experience teaching the UK National Curriculum.
- Experience in more than one international school (desirable).
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the MBA Vision and Mission Statement.
- Passion for education and belief in every student’s potential.
- Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and remain resilient.
- Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD).
