SECONDARY E-SPORT / AI TEACHER NEEDED IN ABU DHABI FOR AN AUGUST 2026 START. The Esports/ AI Teacher will be responsible for leading the state-of-the-art Esports lab, teaching elective courses, and coaching competitive teams. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between competitive gaming and academic achievement, ensuring students develop transferable skills for careers today. The role focuses on preparing students with resilience, collaboration, and technical skills to lead in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
A private American curriculum school is seeking dynamic and creative secondary teachers to join a close and collaborative team of educators in expansive purpose-built premises. Interviews and appointment are subject to the necessary qualifications and background checks. There is an 80% Arabic-speaking student body and most students speak English as a second language; good differentiation and cultural sensitivity are essential prerequisites.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the state-of-the-art Esports lab.
- Teach elective Esports/ AI courses and coach competitive teams.
- Bridge competitive gaming with academic achievement and develop transferable skills for students.
- Foster resilience, collaborative spirit, and technical skills in students.
- Contribute to a team of professional teachers and partner with the parent community to support learning.
- Bachelor Degree in PE / Sport / ICT or related field, and a teaching certificate.
- Three years of teaching experience.
- Commitment to excellence as a classroom teacher.
- Commitment to 21st Century learning and ability to integrate technology into the curriculum.
- Experience with Web 2.0 applications.
- Ability to work as part of a committed professional team.
- All required documentation to obtain ADEK approval.
- Good differentiation skills and cultural sensitivity, particularly given the 80% Arabic-speaking context and diverse language backgrounds.
