Position Summary

The Education Sales Supervisor will play a fundamental role in promoting and selling National Aquarium’s Educational Packages, including school field trips, and educational camps across the UAE. This role involves developing strong relationships with schools, generating leads, and ensuring seamless coordination between clients and internal teams. In addition to sales responsibilities, this role provides strong administrative and coordination support to ensure the smooth delivery and continuous enhancement of educational programs.

The position works closely with the Education Manager and educators to support program development, operational efficiency, and educator performance, while building strong relationships with schools. The ideal candidate will have strong sales, communication, coordination, and administrative skills, with a passion for education and experiential learning.

Key Responsibilities

Sales:

  • Actively promote and sell the aquarium’s full range of educational programs, including school field trips, seasonal educational camps, and other Aquarium’s interactive learning experiences.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase participation from schools and educational institutions across all Emirates.
  • Identify and contact potential leads, including school administrators, teachers, and education coordinators.
  • Conduct sales presentations and meetings with key decision-makers of schools to showcase the value of the educational programs of the National Aquarium.
  • Follow up with potential clients to convert leads into bookings, ensuring maximum participation in programs.
  • Negotiate pricing, package details, and special requests while maintaining profitability.
  • Stay updated on educational trends, curriculum requirements, and competitor offerings to enhance sales strategies.
  • Track and report sales progress, ensuring monthly and annual sales targets are met.

Administrative:

  • Coordinate closely with the team of educators to ensure the smooth planning and execution of all educational programs.
  • Assist the Education Manager in increasing the overall competitiveness and effectiveness of the educators.
  • Support the development, scheduling, and optimization of educational activities in alignment with sales commitments.
  • Maintain accurate records of booking, agreements, contracts, and trip details for operational and reporting purposes.
  • Prepare detailed sales and operational reports, including lead conversion, revenue, program feedback, and follow-up actions.
  • Submit weekly and monthly performance reports to Education Manager, highlighting progress, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to confirm schedules, logistics, and special requirements for school visits.
  • Track sales-related expenses and ensure adherence to approved budgets.

Compliance & Standards:

  • Ensure that all sales processes and promotional activities follow company policies and ethical guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer data and business-sensitive information.
  • Work closely with the education manager to ensure safety and educational standards are maintained during all the programs.
  • Ensure that all promotional materials and communication align with the company’s branding and messaging guidelines.

Internal and External Communication:

  • Maintain professional and courteous communication with school representatives.
  • Represent the company at educational fairs, school exhibitions, and networking events.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with school representatives, education coordinators, and key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the education manager to ensure smooth booking process, and execution of the program.
Position Requirements
  • Educational Requirements: Higher Secondary or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a similar discipline
  • Work Experience: Minimum 2 years in sales, preferably in education, tourism or event management.
  • Languages: English;
    Arabic (desirable but not mandatory)
  • Computer Literacy: Intermediate to proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Skills & Other Requirement: Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, particularly with schools and educational institutions.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
  • Highly organized with strong administrative skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple programs and schedules.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with educators and management to meet targets and operational goals.
  • Must have a valid UAE driver’s license and be willing to travel across the emirates.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends for special events.
