PE Teacher

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced PE Teacher to join our team in August 2026.

As a PE Teacher, you will:

• Teach and inspire students across various physical education activities and sports, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
• Develop and implement an engaging, ambitious, and inclusive PE curriculum aligned with the International British Curriculum standards.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and teamwork.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other subjects and whole-school initiatives.
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of students during PE lessons and activities.
• Maintain and manage PE equipment and facilities effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field, with a recognised teaching qualification/license.
• Strong subject knowledge in PE, sports, and health education.
• Experience teaching PE across whole school.
• Ability to coach and lead a variety of sports and physical activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
• Commitment to promoting student wellbeing, inclusion, and participation.
• Minimum of two years’ teaching experience in a relevant subject/age group.
• Competency in using ICT to support teaching, learning and assessment.
