Aldar Education is currently seeking an outstanding Mathematics Teacher for Al Ghad Charter School in Abu Dhabi for an immediate start.

- Bachelor's Degree in a related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience
- Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language
- Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
- High level of professionalism and consideration of children's well‑being
- Recent and consistent involvement in extra‑curricular activities
- Respect for all members of a school community irrespective of position, gender, age and ethnic background
- Positive, solution‑focused attitude to working life
- Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check
- Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and achieve the best possible outcomes
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers to plan engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements
- Liaise with colleagues and work flexibly to meet diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with parents to ensure students' happiness and academic success
- Work cooperatively with curriculum support staff, where applicable, to support children’s development
- Clear understanding of the curriculum
- Organise classroom provision and learning resources, creating displays to encourage a positive and engaging learning environment
- Plan, prepare, and present sessions that cater for the abilities of all pupils
- Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative teaching
- Observe and assess children in line with school assessments
- Reflect on classroom provision, lessons taught, progress made, and adjust environment, planning, and curriculum accordingly
- Meet with professionals such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists when required
- Ensure the Teacher and Learner DNA language and attitudes are embedded throughout the curriculum
- Take responsibility for the progress of the class
- Meet requirements for assessment and recording of student development using Target Tracker
- Use data from assessments to inform further planning, provision, and intervention
- Provide feedback to parents and caretakers at Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings
- Follow the school’s behaviour policy and manage classes effectively using approaches appropriate to student needs
- Maintain good relationships with pupils, exercising appropriate authority and acting decisively when necessary
- Be a positive role model and demonstrate the positive attitudes, values, and behaviour expected of pupils
- Have high expectations of behaviour, promoting self‑control and independence of all learners
- Work as part of a curriculum action group supporting planning, assessment, resources, and special events
- Support the organisation and participation in school events, outings, and activities, including weekends and evenings
- Communicate effectively with parents and caretakers regarding student achievements and well‑being using school systems such as CPOMS
- Contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school
- Run a weekly ECA each term
