School Principal - British Curriculum

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership in line with the school's mission, vision, and values
• Ensure effective implementation of the British curriculum EYFS, Key Stages 1-5 including IGCSE and A Levels adapted to the needs of an international student body
• Drive high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment across all phases of the school
• Lead, motivate, and support staff to achieve professional excellence and continuous improvement
• Oversee school operations, policies, and compliance with UK and UAE educational regulations as well as international accreditation standards
• Foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment that supports both the academic and personal development of every student
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with parents, staff, and the wider school community
• Manage budgets, resources, and facilities effectively to ensure efficiency and sustainability

• Master's degree in Education or a closely related field
• Minimum 8 years of proven leadership experience in international schools with significant experience in the British curriculum
• Strong knowledge of UK inspection frameworks e g Ofsted, BSO, and curriculum standards
• Demonstrated ability to lead whole-school operations, curriculum design, and staff professional development
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Experience working within diverse multicultural school communities
