• Promote inclusion across the school at all academic and pastoral levels
• Lead and manage the inclusion team and support staff for students with special educational needs
• Act as an exemplary classroom teacher and guide staff on SEN best practices
• Develop and maintain Individual Education Plans (IEPs), SEN registers, and coordinated care plans
• Review whole-school assessment data to identify students requiring targeted intervention
• Plan and deliver structured intervention programmes for individual students and groups
• Provide induction, training, and professional development for inclusion staff and teaching teams
• Support class and subject teachers through co‑teaching and differentiated lesson planning
• Liaise with external specialists, agencies, and professionals to improve school-based provision
• Prepare documentation for ADEK submissions and other regulatory requirements
• Complete assessments and applications for access arrangements
• Support admissions, evaluations, and transitions of students of determination
• Contribute to the school pastoral committee and behaviour policy development
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and school operational policies
• Maintain high professional standards in attendance, punctuality, and conduct

• SEN qualification at Master's level or external certification in a SEN‑related field
• Qualified teacher status with relevant teaching certification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Previous leadership experience in SEN or Learning Support within primary or secondary schools
• Strong experience in managing inclusion teams and implementing strategic school initiatives
• Proven expertise in developing high‑quality IEPs and intervention plans
• Experience administering standardized assessments and using data to track student progress
• Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and developmental delays
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with families, staff, and external professionals
