Librarian

Our library in Abu‑Dhabi is seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Librarian Assistant to join our team.
As an assistant you will support the daily operations of the library, assist patrons with research and information requests, and maintain the organization of materials. This is a contract position suitable for men who are looking for job opportunities in Abu‑Dhabi.

• Assist patrons with research and information requests
• Maintain the organization of materials in the library
• Help with cataloging and shelving books
• Perform circulation duties such as checking books in/out, processing holds, and collecting fines
• Assist with collection development by recommending new materials for purchase
• Create displays and promote library events and resources to patrons
• Train volunteers on basic library tasks

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
• Previous experience working in a library or customer service setting preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in English

• Competitive salary of $1,000 per month
