Job Description:Arabic A Teacher - Cycle 1 (American Curriculum)
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Arabic Language, Arabic Literature, Education with a specialization in Arabic, or a closely related field from a recognized university.
- A Master s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Possession of a valid and recognized teaching certification/license from a US state or an equivalent international teaching qualification recognized in the UAE.
- Native or near-native fluency in Arabic (both written and spoken) is essential.
- Demonstrated proficiency in English (written and spoken) for effective communication within an international school environment.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of full-time, post-qualification teaching experience in Arabic Language (Arabic
A) to Cycle 1 students (KG1 - Grade
5). - Proven experience teaching within an American curriculum framework is highly advantageous.
- Prior experience in an international school setting, particularly within the UAE or Gulf region, is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire young learners in a culturally diverse classroom environment.
- Pedagogical Expertise: Strong understanding and application of effective teaching methodologies tailored for Cycle 1 Arabic A learners.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to varying student abilities and learning styles.
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and assessing engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
- Competence in utilizing educational technology to enrich the learning experience.
- Excellent classroom management skills promoting a positive and productive learning environment.
- Interpersonal & Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.

- Eligibility to obtain or possession of an ADEK Professional Educator License.
- Successful completion of all mandatory ADEK and UAE security and background checks.
- Understanding and appreciation of UAE culture, heritage, and educational directives.
- Willingness to participate in school-based and ADEK-mandated professional development programs.
