The Opportunity

The College of Business at Zayed University is seeking individuals who can contribute to our faculty team in all areas of Finance at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. We anticipate that successful candidates will be teaching in one (or more) of the following areas:

• Corporate Finance
• International Corporate Finance
• Special topics of Corporate Finance (i.e., mergers and acquisitions, dividend policy, LBOs, Corporate Governance, etc.)
• Portfolio Analysis and Management
• Alternative Investments
• Financial Derivatives
• Financial Econometrics
• Financial Statements Analysis
• Financial Markets and Institutions
• Commercial Banking
• Banking Risk Management
• Islamic Banking and Finance
• Valuation Models
• Financial Planning and Modelling
• etc.

Successful candidates are expected to conduct high-quality and impactful financial research leading to publications in recognized top-tiered journals and actively perform appropriate departmental, college, and university service.

The Requirements

• Doctorate in Finance from an accredited university that is, or can be, recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education. Degrees from AACSB-accredited universities are strongly preferred.
• CFA-qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, as are candidates with knowledge of and experience in teaching using a Bloomberg lab.
• The candidate should demonstrate an established excellent research record showing potential to publish in leading academic journals and a commitment to effective, high-quality teaching and service.
