A Primary Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality learning experiences that support the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of students.

Teaching all core subjects of English, Maths and Science for Grades 1 to 5.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and educational resources to enhance student learning.

• Assess, record, and monitor student progress regularly.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance.
• Prepare student reports and participate in parent‑teacher meetings.

• Establish and maintain high standards of behaviour and discipline.
• Promote respect, responsibility, and positive relationships among students.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and supportive classroom environment.

• Support the emotional, social, and personal development of students.
• Identify and address learning, behavioural, or welfare concerns.
• Follow all safeguarding, child protection, health, and safety policies and procedures.

• Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and well‑being.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events.

• Stay updated with current educational practices and curriculum developments.
• Uphold the school’s vision, values, policies, and professional standards.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and school initiatives.

• Supervise students during lessons, breaks, assemblies, and school activities.
• Prepare teaching materials and learning resources.
• Participate in curriculum planning and school improvement initiatives.
• Carry out any other duties reasonably assigned by the Principal or School Leadership Team.

• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, with English proficiency equivalent to an IELTS Band score of 7.
