Al Rabeeh Academy is seeking an experienced and passionate Art Teacher to join our dynamic, high‑performing team from August 2026.
As a Secondary Art Teacher in an international British curriculum school, you will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including GCSE and A‑Level Art and Graphic Design. You will inspire students through creative, engaging lessons that develop artistic techniques, visual communication, and critical thinking. The successful candidate will encourage experimentation, innovation, and personal expression while fostering a supportive and inclusive studio environment where all learners can explore their creativity and reach their full potential.

What We're Looking For- Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons in line with British curriculum standards, with the ability to teach Art and Graphic Design up to at least GCSE level, and ideally A‑Level.
- Model strong, creative, visual and critical thinking skills through inspiring and effective teaching approaches.
- Use a range of formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor, track, and support student progress in practical and coursework‑based subjects.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development and the creation of high‑quality teaching resources and studio‑based learning experiences.
- Support the academic and pastoral well‑being of students, promoting the school’s values, routines and high expectations.
- Build strong, positive relationships with parents through clear communication regarding student progress, attainment and next steps.
- Participate actively in school events, exhibitions, professional development and broader whole‑school initiatives.
- Fluent English speaker.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject with PGCE / QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
- Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.
- Strong classroom management skills and commitment to student wellbeing.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
