Job Description
The Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Professor in Entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will join a scholarly academic environment dedicated to excellence in research, teaching, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct high-quality research leading to publications in top-tier, refereed journals and develop and sustain funded research initiatives.
- Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in entrepreneurship and related disciplines, employing innovative and practical approaches to enhance student learning.
- Lead and manage the Entrepreneurship Lab, creating hands‑on, practical opportunities that integrate academic knowledge with real‑world applications.
- Mentor students and advise them on academic and professional development, and actively contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the Entrepreneurship program.
- Engage in service activities that promote the growth and reputation of UAEU and its entrepreneurship program.
- Leverage industry experience in the UAE and internationally to ensure the program's practical relevance and quality.
- Earned doctorate in the applicable field.
- Ability to teach undergraduate courses.
- Industrial and professional experience is a plus.
- Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship, Business, or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited institution.
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed journal publications or clear evidence of the potential to publish in leading journals if at an early stage of completion of the PhD.
- Ability to secure research funding or develop funded research initiatives.
- Excellence in teaching with a focus on innovative pedagogy and ability to teach a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate courses.
- Demonstrated collegiality and strong commitment to contributing to the growth of the institution and its broader community.
- Proficiency in English, the language of instruction and communication.
