Minimum Qualifications- Minimum secondary school certificate.
- At least two‑year experience in a school setting.
- English language skills according to the school curriculum.
- Minimum experience:
UAE National with a minimum secondary school certificate or Bachelor’s degree.
- Previous experience working with students whose English is not their first language.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child.
- High level of professionalism and consideration of the well‑being of children.
- Recent and consistent involvement in extra‑curricular activities.
- Respect for all members of a school community, irrespective of position, gender, age, and ethnic background.
- Positive and solution‑focused attitude to working life.
- Clean Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.

Main Duties- Provide support for individual pupils or groups inside and outside the classroom to enable full participation in activities.
- Be proactive in matters relating to health and safety.
- Assist in the implementation of individual education programmes and help monitor progress.
- Support pupils with additional support needs, e.g. emotional and behavioural difficulties, and help develop their social skills.
- Assist class teachers with maintaining pupil records.
- Prepare and present displays of pupils’ work.
- Support class teachers in photocopying and other tasks to support teaching.
- Support the aims of the school; comply with health and safety, relevant legislation and school policies.
- Academic assistance.
- Give group instruction as prescribed by the teacher or provide individual instruction.
- Demonstrate various instructional activities.
- Monitor work assigned by the teacher – checking and correcting pupils’ work while in progress.
- Keep pupils on task.
- Praise and reinforce achievements of pupils and report pupil progress to teacher.
- Reorganise materials at the end of the day.
- Check attendance.
- Supervise pupils in classrooms and other locations.
- Participate in the development of behaviour policy and promote pupils’ self‑esteem.
- Disciplinate misbehaviour in line with the whole‑school policy.
