Teacher – Computer Science

Aldar Education is seeking a Teacher – Computer Science to support our growing family of schools, joining at the start of the 2026/2027 academic year in August.

• Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
• Be a good communicator at all levels and build positive relationships with members of the school community.
• Plan, prepare and present sessions catering for the needs of the whole ability range.
• Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative teaching.
• Observe and assess children in line with school assessments, and reflect on practice to adjust planning and curriculum.
• Collaborate with support staff (speech, language, occupational, educational psychologists) as required.
• Implement the school's behaviour policy, manage classes effectively, maintain good relationships, and exhibit high expectations of behaviour.
• Engage in wider professional responsibilities, including curriculum action group work, school events, and communication with parents via systems like CPOMS.
• Run a weekly ECA each term where applicable.

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
• Minimum Experience: 1–2 years of teaching experience.

  • Previous experience working with students whose English is not their first language.
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child.

  • A positive and solution‑focused attitude to working life.
  • A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
