Position Overview

The College of Information Technology (CIT) at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) seeks faculty candidates with a strong research record in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Informatics. The role focuses on theoretical foundations and applications in areas such as Smart Health Systems, Cloud Computing, Business Intelligence, and Decision Support Systems. Successful candidates will enhance ongoing research and teach undergraduate and graduate courses across multiple programs.

• Contribute to and expand multidisciplinary research initiatives at CIT.
• Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in AI, Data Science, and Informatics.
• Collaborate with faculty across departments and programs.
• Secure and manage research grants and contracts.

• Ph.D. in computer science, information science or closely related field from a recognized university.
• Established record of discipline‑specific research publications in internationally recognized journals and conferences.
• Demonstrated experience in writing and securing research grants and contracts.
• Evidence of excellence in teaching and student supervision at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty across multiple departments and programs.

Faculty rank is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
