Job Description

• Develop plans that encourage and create educational and cultural opportunities with external parties for various groups at the United Arab Emirates University, preparing visit programs for international delegations and guests, and managing reception procedures in coordination with relevant departments/units.
• Coordinate with university authorities for the preparation and organization of international conferences and symposia.
• Develop plans that contribute to making international partnerships and creating training opportunities for different groups at the UAE University.
• Participate in developing initiatives to promote the university internationally and follow up on their implementation.
• Participate in developing plans to participate in international academic exhibitions and conferences.
• Explore local, regional and international situations with the aim of exploiting all opportunities to enhance the university’s role and contribute to developing the international community.
• Prepare lists of international invitees for university events and send invitations to them in a timely manner.
• Participate in archiving, evaluating and following up on international agreements.
• Define international partners and prepare and update a database that includes the names of state officials.
• Coordinate with concerned units to update information of cultural and international relations on the university’s website.
• Coordinate with concerned units for media coverage of international conferences and symposia in which the university participates.
• Be able to travel for attending/organizing international events.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.
