Secondary Female Science Teacher – UAE (August 2026)

We are a large and well‑established international school offering education from KG to Grade 12 through a blend of American curriculum and International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes. We seek an experienced secondary science teacher to join our team. Candidates should be female and willing to work in a 100% ESL learning environment.

• Teach Science – Chemistry to grades 6–12.
• Develop curriculum and lesson plans aligned with American and IB standards.
• Use assessment data to inform instruction and differentiate learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues, share best practices, and contribute to the school community.
• Maintain an engaging, supportive classroom environment leveraging technology.

• Degree in Science or a related field.
• Valid teaching license.
• Clean police clearance and criminal record check.
• At least two years post‑qualifying teaching experience (as required by Ministry regulations).
• Experience with American Curriculum (Common Core preferred).
• IELTS 7.0 or higher if not an English mother‑tongue speaker.
• Strong academic background in content knowledge, data‑driven instruction, assessment literacy, differentiation, and technology proficiency.
• Committed to collaboration, collegiality, and student engagement.

Note:

This role is not within a typical western expatriate school. Many students are local residents of the UAE.
