Support Assistant

The British International School Abu Dhabi is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Support Assistant to join our committed and high-performing operations team The closing date for applications is 31st July 2026 The Support Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students across the school and during transport The postholder is responsible for supervising children on school buses registering them on and off maintaining communication with parents and ensuring all safety procedures are followed throughout each journey

When not engaged in bus duties the Support Assistant provides valuable administrative and practical help across different areas of the school including classrooms the library the clinic and office spaces They support teachers and students during lessons and break times promoting a positive and caring environment

The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills patience reliability and a proactive attitude Flexibility and professionalism are key as is a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety care and teamwork within a busy and diverse international school setting
