Responsibilities
- Teach middle and high school students (grades 6-12) across general science, biology, and chemistry
- Run live, energetic science sessions via Zoom
- Lead in-person labs twice a week at the Abu Dhabi learning center
- Adapt curriculum to fit real students using imagination and teaching style
- Guide virtual labs and simulations
- Grade and provide timely feedback using LMS tools
- Build relationships with students and families through regular check-ins
- Collaborate with fellow teachers in a professional learning community
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or a STEM field
- Experience teaching secondary science (general science, biology, and chemistry)
- Comfort with virtual and in-person labs and inquiry-based teaching
- Familiarity with LMS platforms (Canvas, Schoology, or Google Classroom)
- Strong English communication skills
- Proficiency with video conferencing and digital whiteboards
- Must be based in or near Abu Dhabi
- Organized and able to work independently
- Competitive pay based on experience
