- Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject or a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
- Recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent
- A minimum of two years of recent, full-time teaching experience
- Experience teaching the British National Curriculum is preferred
- A passion for delivering engaging, student-centred lessons that promote high levels of achievement
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining a positive learning environment
- Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
