Librarian in Abu-Dhabi, UAE
We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi to support our library operations. This position is open to both local and foreign applicants and offers a competitive salary of 1700.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Librarian, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to library patrons. You will be responsible for cataloging new materials, managing the circulation desk and overseeing library security at all times. You will also be required to assist with library programming and outreach activities.
RequirementsTo be considered for this position, applicants should possess a college degree in Library Science or related field as well as experience in using library systems and programs such as Library of Congress Classification System and cataloging software like Aleph or Koha. Additionally, the successful candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills and possess the ability to communicate effectively with patrons from various backgrounds and cultures.
