We are looking for a motivated, effective librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our library and providing excellent service to our patrons. We welcome applications from both experienced librarians and those without experience who are eager to learn the role.
The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. They should possess good communication skills and an understanding of technology such as computers, databases, and online resources.
Responsibilities- cataloguing books
- developing library collections
- maintaining accurate records
- organizing events such as book readings or workshops
- providing reference services
- monitoring the use of library materials
- supervising library staff
- preparing annual reports
