About the roleWe are seeking an experienced librarian to join our vibrant team in Bani Yas City. The successful candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in a library setting, and should be comfortable with using computers and other technology to assist with cataloging and maintaining library records.
Responsibilities- Provide quality customer service by helping patrons find the information they require.
- Organize library resources, assist with research, recommend materials, and provide technical assistance.
- Oversee book acquisitions, subscriptions, and interlibrary loans.
- Develop programming for library patrons of all ages, including planning activities such as story time for children, book clubs for adults, and other community-oriented initiatives.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in a library setting.
- Comfortable with using computers and other technology to assist with cataloging and maintaining library records.
- Excellent communication skills in order to promote the library’s services to the public.
We are open to considering a foreigner for this role and we offer a competitive salary of AED 1400 per month.
