Librarian job vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE for foreigners.

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about books and reading, and who has the skills needed to provide great customer service.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of library operations, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate should also be computer literate, and have experience with modern library software systems.

• Maintain library collections by organizing and cataloging books, periodicals, audio-visual materials, electronic resources, and other materials
• Assist patrons in locating materials
• Answer reference questions
• Participate in collection development activities
• Develop library programs that promote reading or literacy
• Maintain circulation records
• Train library staff on new technologies

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field
• Previous experience working in a library setting is preferred but not required
• Excellent research skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong organizational skills

We offer a competitive salary of 1200 per month. We are also willing to consider immigrants for this position.
