Librarian
Location:
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Salary: 1600 AED per month
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and time-management skills, as they will be responsible for managing library resources effectively.
Responsibilities- Maintaining library resources, including books, periodicals, and other materials.
- Cataloguing new materials as they are acquired.
- Assisting patrons with locating library materials.
- Organizing special events and programs to promote the library's services.
- Developing and maintaining the library's online presence.
- Preparing reports and other documents related to the library's operations.
- Knowledge of current trends in libraries and information science is preferred.
- Ability to use computer systems for cataloguing, searching, or reporting purposes is required.
- Excellent communication skills are essential in order to interact effectively with patrons of all ages and backgrounds.
- We are open to hiring a person with no experience but must demonstrate a strong interest in libraries and information science.
