Librarian job vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE for unskilled worker

Salary: 1100 AED per month
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in a library setting and knowledge of library operations and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Manage the library operations including but not limited to cataloging and organizing materials, checking out books and other materials to patrons, shelving returned items, monitoring circulation desk activities.
- Prepare necessary reports for library activities.
- Assist patrons with research questions and provide reference assistance.
- Maintain records of acquisitions, circulation statistics, community outreach programs and special collections.
- Establish policies and procedures for the library operations.
- Develop plans for collection development activities.
- Train staff on new technologies related to library operations.
- Participate in professional organizations related to the field of librarianship as assigned by supervisor.
