Librarian for Indian Community in Abu-Dhabi
As a librarian for the Indian community in Abu-Dhabi, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library's collection of books, periodicals, and audio-visual materials. You will assist patrons with research and reference inquiries, as well as provide recommendations for reading materials. Additionally, you will oversee the library's budget and make purchasing decisions to maintain an up-to-date collection. Your role will also involve planning and coordinating events such as book clubs and author visits to promote literacy within the Indian community.
To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in Library Science or a related field, excellent communication skills, fluency in English and Hindi languages, and experience working in a library setting.
Salary for this position is 1500$ per month with potential for growth opportunities. This position is open to individuals with valid visas or students looking to gain experience in their field while studying.
