We are hiring an experienced English Tutor to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality language instruction to students of various ages and levels. This is a contract position with flexible hours, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals looking for part-time or freelance work.
Responsibilities- Create lesson plans and teaching materials based on the needs and level of each student
- Conduct one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in person or online
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback on their strengths and areas for improvement
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate students
- Incorporate real-life examples and cultural references into lessons to make learning more relevant and interesting
- Help students improve their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in English
- Prepare students for exams such as IELTS or TOEFL if needed
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress
- Native or near-native proficiency in English
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification is a plus)
- Previous experience tutoring English as a second language (ESL) or as a foreign language (EFL)
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt teaching style to different learning styles
- Patient, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching
- Comfortable using technology for online tutoring if needed
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with Indian students or are familiar with the Indian education system.
