We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. This position is responsible for the overall management of the library, from overseeing the acquisition and maintenance of printed and digital materials, to providing assistance to patrons who need help finding information.

The successful candidate must be well organized and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. The ability to work with diverse populations is essential, as you will be required to interact with patrons from different backgrounds. Additionally, you should possess strong computer skills and be proficient in using library software programs.

• The Librarian will be responsible for developing a collection of library materials, utilizing collection development practices, including evaluation and selection of materials in multiple formats. You will also advise on placement and organization of library resources; actively promote library services by providing instruction in the use of resources; maintain an awareness of current developments in librarianship; evaluate effectiveness of service programs;
  
  participate in library committee work; and perform other related duties as assigned.

• This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or equivalent experience.

• The pay rate is 1100 per month, plus benefits as per UAE labor law.
