Librarian job in Abu-Dhabi UAE for foreigners
Job Description:
We are looking for a Librarian in Abu Dhabi to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, cataloging, and preserving library materials. This role will involve maintaining library databases, overseeing library circulation, and providing reference services to patrons. The Librarian will also be responsible for teaching library users how to use the library resources and equipment.
Needs for the Candidate:
We are looking for a candidate who has excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. A Bachelor s degree in Library Science or related field is preferred but not required. We also require excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as strong computer literacy with experience in using modern library management software. Previous work experience in a library is a plus but not necessary.
Candidates must be able to read and write English fluently and have an understanding of Arabic culture. The salary for this position is 1100 AED per month.
