Job Description:English Language Teacher (American Curriculum)
International Community Schools (ICS) Al Mushrif Branch is seeking a highly qualified and passionate English Language Teacher to join our academic team for Cycle 2 and Cycle 3. The successful candidate will be dedicated to fostering a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages students to develop strong literacy skills, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for language and literature, all within the framework of the American curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective English Language Arts (ELA) instruction to students in Cycle 2 and Cycle 3.
- Develop and implement curriculum aligned with the American Common Core State Standards for ELA.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success and school development.
- Contribute to the schools extra-curricular program and wider community initiatives.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in English, English Literature, Education with an English specialization, or a closely related field from an accredited university.
- A Masters Degree in Education or Diploma in Education
- Or a valid, professional teaching license from UAE
- Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of full-time, post-qualification teaching experience in English Language Arts within an American curriculum school setting.
- Demonstrated experience teaching diverse student populations across Cycle 2 (Grades 5-8) and Cycle 3 (Grades 9-12).
- Proven track record of fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Experience with integrating technology effectively into the classroom to enhance learning outcomes.

Skills: - Expertise in instructional methodologies , including differentiated instruction, inquiry-based learning, and authentic assessment strategies.
- Proficiency in utilizing educational technology and digital resources to support teaching and learning.
- Strong analytical skills for student data interpretation and instructional planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
