Librarian

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This position offers a highly competitive salary of 1400 AED per month and we are open to considering foreign applicants. As the Librarian, you will be responsible for managing library resources and providing library services to patrons.

• Manage library resources such as books, magazines, journals, audio-visual materials etc.;
• Organize and maintain the library’s collection;
• Develop programs such as reader advisory services;
• Advise patrons on the selection of books and other materials;
• Provide information about library services;
• Coordinate with other staff members to ensure that all resources are available for patron use;
• Ensure that all library policies are followed;
• Create and implement new ideas to improve patron experience;
• Assist patrons with their inquiries or complaints.

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field;
• At least 3 years of experience working in a similar role;
• Familiarity with electronic databases and online research tools;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
