Arabic and Emirati Studies Teacher

LOCATIONS

This role supports our training programs across many UAE locations:
Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah. Applicants will select one main location and may indicate additional location(s) they are able to cover.

Temporary / Part-time position.

• Design, deliver, and assess Arabic Language, Literature, Linguistics, and Emirati Studies courses.
• Facilitate engaging, inclusive, outcome-focused learning using varied pedagogical approaches, including in-person, online, blended, and problem-based learning.
• Prepare session plans, teaching materials, assessments, and rubrics aligned with program and course learning outcomes.
• Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and support to assigned students.
• Monitor student progress, identify learners requiring additional support, and refer them to appropriate services.
• Support student engagement, retention, and academic success.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Arabic Language, Literature, Linguistics, Translation, Emirati Studies, or a closely related discipline — mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant teaching experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years' with a Master's degree.

• Proficiency in LMS platforms such as Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, or equivalent for blended and online delivery.
• Experience in assessment design, including formative and summative assessments, rubric development, and grade moderation.
• Strong record of teaching, curriculum design, and course/module leadership.
• Strong computer literacy and demonstrated ability to integrate technology into teaching.
• Experience in academic advising, mentoring, and student support.

English:
Business proficiency (written and spoken), essential; primary language of documentation.

Arabic:
Native or fluent proficiency (written and spoken), mandatory.
