The College of Arts and Creative Enterprises (CACE)

The College of Arts and Creative Enterprises offers a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (with majors in Animation Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, and Visual Art). It also offers Bachelor of Science degree in Multimedia Design, in collaboration with the College of Communication and Media Sciences and the College of Technological Innovation. Candidates joining the college will be able to contribute to its growth and initiatives, advocating for innovative practices.

CACE has received Substantial Equivalency from the National Schools of Art & Design for its academic programs.

The Opportunity

To meet the growing enrollment at the college, CACE seeks qualified candidates to fill full-time, multi-year faculty positions to teach in the Foundations experience of the baccalaureate program, starting as early as August 2025.

The Visiting Professor position is intended for a distinguished artist, designer, architect, or scholar who will contribute to the academic and creative life of the college for a fixed term. The candidate will bring additional expertise that may not currently be represented within our faculty, expanding perspectives across art, design, architecture, curating/museum studies, or other critical areas such as sustainability. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses, engaging in research or creative practice, and participating in critiques, seminars, and public programs.

The Visiting Professor will support cross-disciplinary dialogue, mentor students, and enrich the college through their unique insight and professional experience. The appointment is for 10 months, and applicants must have earned a Masters, MFA or PhD degree (or equivalent terminal degree) in art, design, or architecture - that is or can be recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education.

• A record of professional accomplishment appropriate to their rank.
• Substantial level of computer literacy and a good proficiency of usage of IT in education.
• Willingness to provide service to the University and the College.
