English Language Instructor

Deliver English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction across beginner to advanced levels, using a learner-centered, learning-by-doing approach. The instructor supports learners in developing the linguistic ability required to function effectively in an international academic and professional environment, while contributing to the wider academic and extracurricular life of the program.

This role supports our training programs across many UAE locations:
Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah. Applicants will select one main location and may indicate additional location(s) they are able to cover.

Temporary / Part-time position.

• Provide instruction at various proficiency levels within the program.
• Develop and deliver course curriculum aligned with accreditation and international standards.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
• Apply varied pedagogical approaches, including in-person, online, and blended learning.
• Integrate technology into the learning environment and teaching methodology.
• Maintain current knowledge of contemporary EFL/ESP teaching practices.
• Function as a team player within a multicultural work environment.
• Participate in academic and extracurricular activities at the program and community level.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in TEFL/TESL (or closely related field) from a recognized university, mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant teaching experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years' with a Master's degree; tertiary-level experience preferred.

• Proficiency in LMS platforms such as Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, or equivalent for blended and online delivery.
• Experience in assessment design, including formative and summative assessments, rubric development, and grade moderation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, both theoretical and practical.
• Strong computer literacy and demonstrated ability to integrate technology into teaching.
• Evidence of a personal professional development plan; membership in a recognized professional association preferred.

English:
Native or professional proficiency (written and spoken), mandatory; primary language of instruction.

Arabic:
Conversational proficiency preferred, not required.
