English Teacher
A reputable international school in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified and experienced English Teacher to join our diverse team. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, teaching students of various ages and abilities, and assessing their progress. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1100 per month. We welcome applicants from all nationalities but prefer Pakistani or African candidates. No previous experience teaching in an English-speaking country is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience teaching English
- Fluent in English (Arabic language proficiency is a plus)
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and assess student progress
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and adaptable to different learning styles
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Teach students of varying ages and abilities in the subject of English
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and other forms of evaluation
- Provide individualized support to students who may be struggling with the curriculum
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school events as required
