• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support curriculum goals and student achievement
• Organise classroom resources and create a positive and stimulating learning environment
• Prepare and present sessions that meet the needs of the full ability range within the class
• Motivate students through enthusiastic and imaginative teaching approaches
• Observe and assess student progress in line with school assessment procedures
• Use Target Tracker and assessment data to guide lesson planning, intervention, and student support
• Meet with specialist professionals such as therapists and educational psychologists when required
• Provide regular feedback to parents and carers during conferences and school meetings
• Maintain strong classroom discipline and follow school behaviour policies
• Act as a positive role model promoting confidence, independence, and strong student values
• Participate in curriculum action groups, extracurricular activities, and weekly ECA programmes

• Bachelor's Degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience within a school environment
• Previous experience working with students where English is not their first language is preferred
• Strong passion for teaching and commitment to whole-child development
• Professional attitude with strong safeguarding awareness and student well-being focus
• Active involvement in extracurricular activities and wider school life
• Positive and solution-focused mindset with strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Valid enhanced DBS check or police clearance required
