We are hiring a dedicated and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi As a Librarian you will be responsible for managing and organizing our librarys collection providing research assistance to patrons and promoting library resources and services The ideal candidate will have a degree in Library Science or a related field strong communication skills and experience working in a library setting
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month
Responsibilities- Manage and maintain library collections including cataloging shelving and weeding materials
- Assist patrons with reference inquiries research needs and locating resources
- Develop and implement programs and workshops to promote library resources
- Contribute to the development of the librarys collection by selecting new materials based on patron needs
- Monitor circulation activities and enforce library policies
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in librarianship and technology to improve services
- Bachelors degree in Library Science or related field
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
- Strong communication skills in English
- Proficient computer skills
- Knowledge of cataloging systems
- Excellent organizational skills
This position is open to Nepali nationals as well as foreigners with valid work permits or own visas
