Job Title:

Librarian - International Library Services (Abu Dhabi, UAE)

We are currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Librarians to join our International Library Services team in Abu Dhabi. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures, providing access to a wide range of resources and services.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the library, including circulation, reference services, and collection development
• Assist patrons with locating and accessing materials in various formats
• Provide research assistance and support to students, faculty, and staff
• Develop and implement programs and events to promote literacy and lifelong learning
• Maintain accurate records of library transactions and statistics
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate library resources into curriculum and instruction
• Stay current on emerging technologies related to library services

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
• Knowledge of current trends in library services
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work with diverse populations
• Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
