*** Description of role:**
* * Deliver high quality teaching to the students for certifications at all levels
* To provide training courses to candidates based on the approved lesson plan.
* Monitoring and assessing student progress on an ongoing basis.
* Identify best and innovative practices in learning and teaching and build them into personal teaching practice.
* Contribute actively to initiatives, which identify new and best practice in teaching and learning and promote it across the regions.
* Take lead responsibility for a program area, subject or course, as required
* Enhance student experience and outcomes
* Provide academic advice and counselling.
* Liaise closely with teaching, technical and administrative staff as appropriate to ensure a quality teaching and learning environment.
* Contribute to team activity and where appropriate lead on major research and knowledge transfer projects.
* Maintain a research profile, including outputs, normally of high international standing.
* Demonstrate commitment to making an impact, based on research and knowledge transfer.
* Lead learning and teaching activities in a particular area as agreed, e.g. program leadership
* Any other tasks given by the management.  
*** Requirements of role:**
* * Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering, preference will be given to CSWIP 3.2 holder
* ** Site projects experience is must along with
** teaching experience.
* Strong knowledge and experience working of:  + Welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW, FCAW)  + Welding defects and NDT interface  + Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS / PQR)  + Applicable international codes and standards (ISO, ASME, AWS, API)
* Track record in teaching, normally of high international standing
* CSWIP and BGAS certifications
* Track record of innovation in teaching and learning, reflected in design, delivery and
* Promotion of good professional practice
* Good teamwork skills
* Communication skills and networking ability
* Adaptability* Strong attention to detail
* Good organization and planning skills
* Creativity and writing skills
* Commercial awareness
* Analytical skills
* IT skills
